I love level design.
...working with other designers to brainstorm ideas
...scripting into the wee hours because there was 'oh, yeah! One more thing'
...discussing scripting tricks with programmers
...teasing ideas out of other games
...working with artists and sound designers to make it all come to life
...watching people play and cheering when they have fun
...and yes, even watching people get lost or frustrated is a valuable learning tool
